Review: Warhammer 40,000: SpaceMarine

I used to play Warhammer, mainly the fantasy game but I had my time with the futuristic 40,000 as well. I played Dark Eldar and Necron so I'm not that into the Spacemarines themselves, but I figured I'd still give this shooter/hack-n-slash title a chance. As for whether or not it was worth it, well head on after the jump to find out!

Tobbiinion!: Rachel from Resident Evil: Revelations

[Tobbiinion! is a new article-series on Achievement Unlock in which Tobbii tosses out his honest thoughts on something going on in the gaming world. Unfiltered and uncensored, he states his opinion whether you like it or not.]

Sex-appeal. That's a term that is very common and has always been very common, it's understandable as to why you would want sex-appeal in your game, movie or comicbook, it makes the viewer feel more comfortable. And when it comes to games like Oneechanbara or Dead or Alive: Xtreme it fits perfect to have over sexualized girls, it's part of the style they're aiming for, same with men for games like Cho Aniki. So why do I have a problem with Rachel from Resident Evil: Revelations? Well first of all, I guess I should fill you guys in on who she is...

The fate of our Dead Island review.

I'd love to review Dead Island, I really would.

But the game is unplayable. And I'm not talking about gameplay glitches here, I'm talking about the fact that I can literary not get the game running. I have the PC version and I can't get past a simple black screen. I've checked the issue, and others have it. Difference is that they've been able to fix it, when I do the same however, nothing happens.

I do believe Jimmy is picking up the 360 version on Friday, hopefully he'll be able to play it and review it if the PC version won't get working in time. I'm going to keep on trying, but I'm not promising anything from me at this time.

8 Bits: Eight Really Stupid Videogame Movie Ideas

Videogame movies, you probably hate them and probably have a good reason too. The good videogame movie is certainly not something we see every day, but it does happen from time to time. Personally, I'm a big fan of the Silent Hill movie, but that might just be me. Speaking of bad videogame movies though, there are some out there that could have been good, and then there's the ones that were doomed right from the original concept. These are the eight worst ideas that never should have been thought up for a videogame movie.

Siren: Blood Curse

Both Siren and Forbidden Siren 2 were praise among fans for being very special horror games. Despite the horrible controls, the gameplay an concept were unique for it's time. In 2008 Sony announced that a “New Translation” of the original Siren game would come exclusively for the PS3. And I can tell you, this game were one of the few reasons I even brought the console. I had more than high expectations.
